Help bring better Public Transit to Indy!
I'm an outreach associate for the Hoosier Environmental Council here in Indy. During the legislative session, I have been working to educate Hoosiers on 'green' legislation and build support for the legislation.
Right now there is a bill in support of Public Transit funding that needs your help! This bill (House Bill 1660) has passed the House and is now in the Senate Transportation Committee. Please contact Senator Wyss (R-Ft. Wayne), chair of the Senate Transportation Committee and urge him to support House Bill 1660 for better public transit funding in Indiana.

ALSO, Please contact Senator Kenley (R-Nobelsville), chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee. Because this bill deals with funding issues, it must also pass through the Senate Appropriations Committee. Urge Senator Kenley to support HB 1660 and better public transit for Hoosiers.
