About Me:
An ordained minister with the Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. Social justice issues are an important part of my philosophy and theology. I gather with a group of like minded folks every couple of weeks....we call it "the coffee group". We meet downtown. Most of the folks are involved in social justice organizations from: Exodus Refugee Project to Horizon House Homeless Day Care Shelter to Habitat for Humanity to the Ronald McDonald House to Global Peace Initiatives to ICASA to... well you get the point.
Interests
reading, working out, kayaking, movies, (might I recommend Juno...a great movie for a date!), Butler Basketball, all sports, walking, hiking, white water rafting, sailing, fishing....gee I love a lot of things!!!! Oh, ya....people too! :-)

I have organized many work camps and missions trips and had the unfortunate luck to have lived in the path of Hurricane Ivan, Dennis, Katrina, Rita, Arlene...etc. So, the week following Katrina I was delivering emergencies supplies to Biloxi and Gulf Port.

Hum.....I helped out at the Global Concert in Carmel last year and have attended a few political rallies since; even a few protest!

Would love to meet with your group for coffee and maybe (!) discuss some of the political agendas. We all need to be more vocal. In the meantime, enjoy the snow!
