Building a Sustainable Indianapolis Metro Region

/reciprocity/ is seeking a collation of individuals from all backgrounds to share in the shaping of this grassroots community advocacy group.

Our mission is to inspire actionable ideas and increase connectedness and renewal within Indianapolis communities. We aim to empower individuals with the skills necessary to take steps towards solving large, complex and abstract problems affecting our society and environment.

/reciprocity/ is founded on the principle that community and environmental renewal depends on shared interests, shared commitment, shared trust, and collective action.

During the Round Table Discussion on Wednesday, January 30, 2008, individuals participated in the process to create shared interests and shared commitment.

The next gathering will be February 21: Thursday 6:00-7:30pm
(location to be determined)

The purpose of this meeting is to build strong, trusting relationships between individuals. This trust will form the basis for future work. Additionally, we will identify the assets and hidden talents of members of the coalition.

Please reach out to colleagues, friends, and acquaintances. Invite them to join this coalition by attending the upcoming meetings.

These steps can insure that together we transform society so that all people have a cooperative, reciprocal relationship with nature and one another.
